David Bowie’s Space Oddity, recorded by Commander Chris Hadfield on board the International Space Station

Chris Hadfield is known for his online sharing of stunning photos and videos of the Earth from space during his five-month stay on the International Space Station.

However, Chris may have trumped all by handing over command of the station to Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov on Monday, (safely returned to two hours ago to earth) after almost five months in orbit.   Chris Hadfield surprised his fans on earth with a cover version of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.”  Video has over 4 million views in just two days and I would suggest to Google to give any ad profits to NASA space education for kids.
